Long years ago, we made a tryst with destiny and now the time comes when we shall redeem our pledge… At the stroke of the midnight hour, when the world sleeps, India
will awake to life and freedom.”

Jawaharlal Nehru

The state of India formally gained independence on August 15, 1947 after centuries of British rule – and years of turmoil – and today continues to mark the day with somber speeches, colorful parades and celebrations….in far-flung communities from New Delhi to many places over the world.

So on this patriotic day,let us all unite and spread humanity, love ,brotherhood everywhere.

Be proud to be an indian.

Happy Independence day to all indians!

  2. well happy independence day to all of you. we really are proud to be indian .its been 60 years of our independence but by just being proud you think that our country can benifit.NO. ITS TIME WE GEAR UP and DO something for our nation . Last time when we decided to DO or DIE it changed the map of the the eyes of world are again on us.So its time we not just feel sitting in our drawing rooms hearing great men speeches or participating in parades or just decorating flags its time we foolow those speeches its time we not just realise but DO things its time we not be called “a potential” super power but really become superpowerful its time not to be called the sleeping tiger but wake up tat tiger and change and its YOU WHO CAN BRING THE CHANGE. so lets stop basking in our glorious past or day dreaming about our great future.lets start dominating today and domination starts with DO.
